⛈️ Guild Wars 2 Level 80 Boost
The expansions were meant for seasoned players who have been level 80 for a long time. If you're new to the game, boosting to level 80 and expecting to just breeze right through with level 80 gear is a mistake. Heart of Thorns is tough. Good luck with that.
Using an 80 boost gives you nothing really; you are given health/vit gear which is very under powered on most classes (some classes can get away with it, but only in openworld and pvp) and no resources/money, leaving you to grind in openworld to play catch up.
I bought and played GW2 for about a year after it launched. I bought the PoF / HoT package awhile back but only just recently decided to give it a whirl. So I make a new character, and I immediately try to use my level 80 boost. Nothing happens. I got a pack of dyes and some 15 slot bags but my ch
You can speed-level to 80 and keep exploring, if you want. The level-scaling feature will ensure that your stats are "corrected" for lower-level areas — you'll still generally be more powerful than a low-level character, because you have access to more skills and traits, and the scaling still leaves you with stronger stats overall, but you won't literally one-shot everything like you might
From this cannot remember myself what got as pre-order benefits (besides wizards hat etc) and what will it include now after launch. I'd assume (without checking store page) that it has that 1 level 80 boost at least still. #1. Rose Souls Sep 20, 2023 @ 7:57am.
There is no grind to 80 on this game. You can level up so many ways, even just running around all the maps can get you to 80. You should level up normally, not just because it's the best way to get back into the game and reconnect with the storyline but also because Revenant differs vastly from other professions.
I was completing my Skyscale of Courage achievement and went into my temporary Level-80 boosted character to gather "Courage in the Face of Lost Will" task. When I did so, the standard rewards popped up above the minimap, but it was followed by a notification stating I was unable to complete achievements with a temporary Level-80 boosted character.
Depends how much you're enjoying the leveling experience. I'd go for the boost if you think you'd enjoy being confused in level 80 content more than being bored in levelling content. You probably will be confused if you boost, but you'll probably be confused regardlesss.
No key missed, those are from story rewards, and not just level up.. Let's see. lvl 38 - Karma booster. This and AP chests arethat the only remaining source of this specific type of Karma booster.
Hey guys, Ive been playing for about a month i think. Loving my necro and will continue playing him as my main. I have a level 80 boost taking up my shared inv slot and just wondering what class should i create to get it to 80, Mesmer crossed my mind but im not sure, just looking for some suggestions as to what class and why, im a casual player and would probably use the class to just mess
Keep the warrior and make a new class you think you might envoy. Level that one up normally and learn the game. Once you know the game basics, you'll have no problems learning warrior even if you skipped all training and tutorials. you could also try to craft one or simpy look for groups of any dungeon.
Couple of comments on the level 80 boost in your shared inventory slots - using it on a necro gives you gear with Rabid stats, using it on a thief gives you Valkyrie stats, all 7 other professions receive gear with Soldier's stats. This impacted my choice and let me create a condi scourge necro fast and cheap.
