♥️ Ford Focus Mk2 Mileage Display Not Working

Hi, I have a 2018 ecosport, my drivers information displays which shows my digital speedometer and other things is not working, single showing my mileage in the top corner. It's almost certainly a failure of the door open switch which is perhaps not surprising as the driver's door gets vastly more use. On the early Focus models the switch was mounted on the door frame next to the latch striker plate and protected by a corrugated rubber boot. This was superseded on later models by a switch My cars mpg display has been within 0.5℅ of actual all along. There are tank to tank variations of up to 3 or more mpg, but it averages out to be about 0.5% under reporting mileage. The DTE display is calculated based on the amount of gas in the tank and the average mpg over the last 50 miles or so. Hi all, My speedo,temperature and petrol gauges have stopped working also the mileage counter.I have a 03 reg lx and am wondering if these are covered by a fuse because ive looked in the manual and it doesnt give a specific fuse for this so does anyone know which fuse would govern these. I tryed to put it in the diagnostic mode (holding down the reset button while turn key on) but that wont work either. Anyone ever seen this before ? Rather than spend $500 at Ford for a new one, I got a used one on Ebay for $45. I'm going to install it soon, but I've gotten mixed stories about whether or not I'm going to have issues once it's installed. Some say it won't work at all; that the cluster's memory won't work in another car. Some say it'll work fine. I've swapped the standard seats for full Leather Recaro's (these came out of a ST 59 plate) looking at the wiring loom (from the seat's) it would appear they're heated (they have the Blue & Green connection) I've bought the relevant switches, (I've got two sets and I've tried them both) taken the dash apart and it appears the wiring is in place.
